Okay, We just finished our 'Make a banner project' today at school and my teacher forced us to upload a link to our banners, which i'm by the way not very proud of, at our portfolio.
So here is the link to the banners:
Amazing Travel Banners
As soon my teacher has checked the banners, i will remove this topic!
I don't wanna talk about my process in this project.

7effrey Production
Every enterprise or something like that need a logo, so i made my own.
Notice that 7effrey.dk is currently not running for the '7effrey Production' concept, but for a friendly purpose for networking.

Technical
Program: Original developed in Microsoft Photodraw 2000, recreated in Photoshop CS3.
The logo is inspired by an arrow which point in a specific direction, a new direction of a new generation!
The color symbolic:
• Red: Energy, Passion
• Green: Innovation, hope, enterprise, recreation
• Yellow: Optimism,
• Blue: Stability, honesty
Futher information will come later!

Virtual
In order to make a logo for Virtual whose concept is pure power I tried to make a ball of power or the source of power.

Technical:
Program: Photoshop
Picture: selfconstructed
The logo is created from different sizes of circles in different blue colors in many different layers in order to enable the maximum control of the color shades in the ball of power. From the centre of the circle I have drawn small dots next to each other to show that the power comes from the centre. Afterwards I have used the motion blur to make the flairs look like it is circling.

Yummi, It is a Knord product!
Knord is an abbreviation for København Nord (North Copenhagen)which is where my Academy is located. My friends and I think it is a funny that Knord is pronounced exactly like Knorr, the food company, which gave me the inspiration of making a front page of a packing almost identical to knorr's own products.

Technical:
Program: Adobe Photoshop
Picture: Taken by me
I Have remade the logo so instead of 'Knorr' it is now 'Knord'. The 'd' has been recreated from small parts of the words from Knorr, but in order to make the 'd' to look more realiable I have also redrawn the 'd' around the edges in order shape it as I wanted.
The picture or the 'product' has been seperated from the background which gave me the oppotunity to blur the background without blurring the product. Afterwards I have made different green stains with different opacities in order to create something like clouds to dim the bagground. This effect will set the focus on the product instead of the surroundings.

Food! Nice & fun every day!
Yesterday I found this picture in one of my photo archives from this summer. At that time I did not have any clear purpose with picture, but yesterday I decided to do something about it. My first thought was to make fun of the abbreviation of my school, Knord whose pronunciation is almost identical with Knorr the food company. But I noticed that the picture would not fit into Knorr's concepts... So I decided to use the picture for another purpose which turned out to perfectly fit into a front page to a magazine.

Technical:
Program: Adobe InDesign
Picture: Taken by me
The title FOOD looked very weird and boring when first entered as the title of the magazine, therefore I had to think 'out of the box' to make the the word 'food' look different. I invented a concept for the magasin, which was 'making every day cooking fun'. In that way I was inspired to make the title 'FOOD' as a smiley with the V from 'every' as the nose to stress that the two OOs in food were eyes and the D a mouth.
About the small headlines I have used the principle about nearness to minimize the confusion and to create a clear layout. Besides that I have also tried to keep as few headline colors as possible to stress the clarity.

Amager Lawn Tennis opened for Easter!
In according to Amager Lawn Tennis will be open during the whole easter I have made this poster to announce players in the club about the news.

Technical:
Program: Adobe Photoshop
Picture: Taken by me + Hørsholms Kommune
In this picture I have used a lot of different layers to control the merging between the tennis balls and the chikens, but no merging without tools as clone stamp and blur. Clone stamp has been used to copy hair from the chikens to surface of the tennis balls and blur to make a soft float between chicken head and ball.

Love vs. Hate a classic one!
Everybody falls in love at least one time in their life. It's a wonderful feeling, but sometimes, unfortuantely, love doesn't last forever. We go sadly around wondering why the person we love/loved so much stopped feeling the same. Did I do anything wrong? Has he/she found another? Is it because i forgot to kiss goodbye?
No one really knows except for our.. hmm...ex.. But instead of going sad and turning to to the dark side picking up qualities such as jealousy and hate, look at the bright side of what you had with another human beeing instead of beeing some freaking evil bastard consumed by evil.
Technical:
Program: Paint Shop Pro
Picture: Random pictures from Google
In this picture I have merged different pictures together to make the final picture. Tools as layers, clone stamp, blur and smudge are tools that had been used constantly to make the soft transitions between the different pictures.
Design & Visualisation
Nowadays everyone has tried to photo manipulate with pictures of their colleagues or boss. It is a funny thing and everyone laughs and has a good time, but the best part of it is that it can be done in no time with small different solutions on the internet. The problem is just that everyone can see that the ass on the donkey has been roughly replaced with your boss' head, but does it looks real? NO.
As a multimedie-designer it is among other things my job to make photo manipulation that looks real, but in order to do that it is a must to know how to use such programs as Adobe Photoshop. Fortunately I am not new in my business since I use it every day at work, but i am looking forward to see if there are anything new in Photoshop I can learn from my education.

Traineeship
Since I already worked in Adobe Photoshop before I started on my study as Multimedie-designer, it is hard to see any noticable improvements in that subject, but I can tell you I have learned alot about methods in development and how to secure your project to reach your targets.
Among other things I know I am the 'Shaper' in a team according to Meredith Belbin's theory about the perfect combination of members in a team.
My final goal for this education is to get the competences to start on the graphic designer education, but also to get the knowledge about how to market among other things myself.

After 12 ours sleep!
Sometimes things aren't as planned. You are sure everything is right the day before the big happening, but next day after 12 hours sleep you notice that something is really wrong...
As seen below I had to 'sell' an apartment in this building for a project assignment at school, but with the cranes outside the building i'm sure not even the best real estate agent could sell the coolest penthouse appartment in this building. So in order to score a better chance to sell the appartment I had to move the cranes..but how? Photomanipulation of course!
Take a look at the finishing result.

In this pictures I have used the clone stamp to erase all the cranes outside the building to make the buidling look more attractive, but since the picture was taken at a cloudy day I have also adjusted the colors in the last picture to make it more harmonious.
